Elder Sabore Ole Oyie is probably the only ambassador who also herds cattle. He is also probably the only Maasai Warrior who has a Facebook page.

As Cultural Ambassador for Kenya and advisor to the chief of the village of Narok, Sabore's duties include establishing closer and healthier sources of water as well as increasing his people's voice in government. As a Maasai warrior, Sabore works to preserve his culture. In a society organized around age, he is one of the youngest chief advisors as he has the knowledge of both a warrior and a scholar.

Education, Sabore believes, is the way to improve as well as honor individual cultures. Using the education he received, he spreads the belief that the Maasai people can hold a pen in the right hand and a spear in the left.

Sabore lives traditionally as a Maasai warrior – not only does he wear the shuka, the sheets wrapped around the body, he uses hand-made weapons for self-defense and hunting, and herding cattle, sheep, and goats.

One of his goals is to change how women are perceived in the Maasai society. Sabore stresses the importance of brighter futures for women, stating that "educating a woman is educating a village".
